I have several embossing designs bought on sale that aren’t displayed on the Amazon site and would play with them all day if I could. This is a great way to add texture to card stock and novelty or antiqued paper.
The dies which create cutout designs are very expensive compared to the embossing designs.
The Cuttlebug is one of very few affordable home-scale embossing machines. I’m still learning to use the cutout dies but bought this primarily to make embossed cards and stationery. I wish they made more classic and historic designs for formal correspondence, though. It would also be great if they made embossing alphabet sets so you could personalize your stationery and avoid the whopping charges of some stationery companies.
The cuttlebug folders work as they say do. I made some cards with them already.
I used the snowflake embossing folder to make my holiday cards last December. I received many compliments on my creation. Looked really sharp with Bazzill Bling – gives it a nice snowy shimmer. I’d highly recommend this particular embossing folder.
This is my favorite embossing folder. It turns out exactly as you expect it to and it really makes my greeting cards prettier. Make this the first folder you use with your Cuttlebug embossing machine and you’ll be hooked for life!
It is what it is. Not much to say. It works as it should in my cuttlebug.
I made some cards with this embossing folder and it was great. I am looking for other excuses to use it. I use it with my Sissix Big SHOT and it works great.
These embossing folders by ProvoCraft make wonderfully crisp embossed designs for card fronts or card layers. They are plastic folders with a positive and negative design that sandwiches your cardstock or paper and makes a detailed image after pressure is applied by rollers. These fit nicely through the Cuttlebug as well as The Big Shot die machine. This particular folder design is the first one that I purchased and it’s still one of the designs that I’ll pull out often because of its versatility. These folders can be used so many different ways to give a number of different looks–I really like those crafting tools that can do more than just one thing. If there’s a drawback to these folders, it’s that they don’t emboss the entire front of a standard A2 size card. They leave an unembossed border all the way around. For the most part that doesn’t bother me, but it’s something to be aware of. (By the way, Sizzix textured impressions, similar to these folders, is slightly larger and will emboss and entire cardfront.)
I’ve been using these folders for quite some time now. Love the designs and how easy they are to use. I’d highly recommend them for accenting your cards or scrapbook pages.

I’ve used it to create bookmarks and tags. It is incredbily versatile in scrapbooking and general papercrafting. It looks GREAT on clear acrylic sheets.
This will make a great addition to your embossing collection — just don’t pay more than $5 for it.

I was very pleased with this cuttlebug folder it really made my son’s graduation card very special. It just right on the cardand it gave it a very special look. Everyone really liked it too.

this spatula is a must with the Cricut. Even after the pad is not so sticky, there are some sections that may for some reason, stick to the pad and need the spatula. Glad I got it.
This tool is well-made and easy to use. The seller was very prompt in shipping. I would recommend this to all Cricut users.

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE SOMETHING SIMILAR! They all do the same function – help lift items off a tacky mat.
If you have something similar – then please don’t get it. This SHOULD come with the machine – it’s essential, you need this to get the paper (or whatever you’re cutting) off the mat. (Also for the price point, they should have packaged a few extra mats – you will blow through them if you don’t set your blade depth right).
ALSO need – get small tweezer – with little heads – it’ll help lift more delicate stuff that the spatula may be too harsh to use.
I love my Cricut, but this spatula with use really isn’t worth the money. It was to designed to help you remove what’s been cut off of the Cricut mats, and while it does help you do this, it also picks up a lot of the sticky adhesive from the mats, which can then interfere with the effectiveness of the tool for future cuts. I tried to clean it with finger nail polish remover (what I always use to clean stickers off anything) but it never really was like new again. Additionally, with normal use, the large spatula area became bent. I prefer my Creative Memories tool, that has much less surface area and does a better job of picking up my beautiful letters from the mats.
