An Online die cutting machine Guide

A must have for scrapbooking and card making. I’ve used Cuttlebug embossing folders and cutting dies as well as…sissix, quickcutz, & spellbinders with the Cuttlebug and all work great.
Help answer the question about die cutting machine
EZ Cut Die Cutting Machine, should my pad have cut marks on it?
Hi there. Today I purchased the EZ Cut Die Cutting machine, the larger sized one, and I followed the instructions to make my die cutting machine first cut. I placed the "A" pad on the machine, followed by the cutting die, then the paper, then pad "C". I rolled it through and when I took it out, the cut was fine but it has left cut marks on pad "C". Is this meant to happen? I checked and re checked but the instructions do not tell you to add anything else before inserting the bundle into the cutting machine. Thanks alot.

I got this folder after I bought my Cuttlebug and have not had a real chance to use it makeing anything yet, but I am sure I will use it alot once I start making holiday cards. Like all of the embossing folders, it is easy to use.

Hi, I'm trying to decide which of the machines I really using cuttlebug want to buy. I really want the cricut expression, but I know I won't use it enough to justify paying a lot of money for it. SO which one do you guys like better: Sizzix or Cuttlebug...and WHY?

sizzix big shot Free Important Tip
Posted by: | CommentsI like the Big Shot much better than the Wizard I had, the cranking is easier than the ratcheting. I also had a Cuttlebug (it broke and was sent in for repair when I purchased this) I do think I like the Cuttlebug better as the platform being locked in is a little annoying but it is built a little better than the cuttlebug and Amazon’s price is reasonable.
All in all, I’m glad I have it…one can never have to many die cut machines especially when they do break (I think I’m freakishly strong) as I have broke 2 now.

Posted by: | CommentsI have been using the Big Shot for a few weeks now and LOVE it! It works very well with Sizzix products but I have also used it with Cuttlebug and QuicKutz as well as brass stencils which I previously owned. I have found Spellbinders Nestabilities dies to work well in the Big Shot for both cutting and embossing. Be sure to buy the tan embossing pads if you plan to use these and you will have no problems. You get a lot more for your money buying the Nestabilities with greater choices and graduated sizes vs. individual dies. And they are so much easier to store.

Cuttlebug Die-Cutter versus the Cricut?
I am trying to find out what exactly the difference is between the Cuttlebug Die-Cutter and the cuttlebug die Cricut Machine. It sounds like both can be used for cards and scrapbooks but it seems that there maybe more that can be done with the Cricut and I am unable to find much that does a comparison to help me decided which one to purchase. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I just bought a Cuttlebug die cutter i have a question??
I read other peoples questions but my question is how ofter cuttlebug die cut do you change the plastic plate "B" or "C" because the dies cut through them and do they sell them at craft stores to replace... I thought I messed up when i used it for the first time cause it cut through the plate. Thanks

What is the best name/brand cuttlebug die cuts glue to use for adhering those tiny tiny die cut letters (made from Cuttlebug, Sizzix).

I loved this machine, until it broke on me after 2 months. The good news, Provo Crafts said to send it back and that they have had some problems while using Spellbinder dies. I also own a Wizard and even though that is very heavy duty, the ratchiting is very hard to do and it shoots out the plates when finished cutting. For that reason I really don’t like a Wizard and I broke that machine too. (I must be freakishly strong but they sent replacement part and said it happens on them too). I think I’m going to order a Big Shot from Amazon, the price is great and I hear people like that the best. I wouldn’t not get a cuttlebug, they stand behind it it’s very easy to use but it’s not very heavy duty. I use my machines a lot so need something easy and going to be reliable.
